The Divorce, The Turn Ons, Dolour, and more
The Divorce formed in Seattle, Washington in the spring of 2001, united by a desire to set the city’s reinvigorated underground ablaze with well-crafted, passionate, schtick-free rock music. By staying true to the foundation of an intelligent and passionate form of timeless rock music, but jettisoning rigid stylistic rules, the band avoid finding themselves in a stagnant holding-pattern. By doing it better than most of the bands out there, The Divorce avoids the inevitable march to obscurity that plagues lesser acts.
Feeling blue? The Turn-Ons are professional heart strokers. If their soft, melancholy melodies don't lift your spirits, then swaying contentedly with a room full of like-hearted souls surely will.
Dolour is the music of songwriter-producer-instrumentalist Shane Tutmarc, who lives and records in Seattle, WA. Adept at home recording and production, Tutmarc records his own albums and plays almost everything on them with help from multi-instrumentalist Phil Peterson, bassist Craig Curran, drummer Paul Mumaw and guitarist/keyboardist Charlie "LD" Larson.
Little Hand of the City and The Black Plastics open the show.
Doors at 8pm - show at 8:15
